Simplified 401(k) Onboarding

LT Trust delivers a seamless onboarding experience that is tailored to take very little of your time. Once the initial online forms are completed which shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes, you will be assigned a dedicated onboarding representative who will personally work with you during the setup process.

Start-up (New Plans)

(Approximately 45 days)

+ Step 1: Complete Agreements

LT Trust’s agreements may be printed and completed manually or done electronically. For manually completed agreements, the signature pages can be emailed back to LT Trust at sales@lttrust.com.

+ Step 2: Plan Design Discussion

A LT Trust plan design expert will coordinate a phone call to go through plan options including eligibility and matching provisions.

+ Step 3: Plan Document Execution

Receive plan documents from LT Trust to review and sign.

+ Step 4: Notices

LT Trust will provide all required disclosure notices and online enrollment login information to plan sponsors to distribute to participants.

+ Step 5: Go Live with First Payroll

After participants make deferral and investment elections, LT Trust will assist the plan to process the first payroll contribution.

Conversion (Existing) Plans

(Approximately 75 to 90 days)

+Step 1: Complete Agreements

LT Trust agreements may be printed and completed manually or done electronically. For manually completed agreements, the signature pages can be emailed back to LT Trust at sales@lttrust.com.

+Step 2: Provide LT Trust Current Plan Documents

LT Trust will map over your current plan provisions to our document.. Documents needed from the plan sponsor include: - Adoption Agreement

  • Summary Plan Description (SPD)
  • Investment Lineup

+Step 3: Plan Document Execution

Receive plan documents from LT Trust to review and sign.

+Step 4: Notices

LT Trust will provide all required disclosure notices and online enrollment login information to plan sponsors to distribute to participants.

+Step 5: Go Live with First Payroll

After participants make deferral and investment elections, the plan is ready to process the first payroll contribution. This can
